How much money gets wasted because we start making things too quickly?

Smiling bald man in glasses takes a selfie on a quiet brick-lined street with terraced houses and parked cars under a gray sky.

No printing today.

No installation.

No van full of graphics.

Just sitting down with a client and asking questions.

What are you actually trying to achieve?

Who needs to notice it?

What do you want them to do?

What really matters — and what have we just assumed we need?

I’ve spent most of my working life making things.

But the longer I do this, the more I think making should probably start a little later.

Because a couple of good questions at the beginning can save an awful lot of money, time and wrong turns at the end.

And sometimes the best outcome of a meeting is deciding not to produce something.

Not particularly helpful for a printer to admit. 😂

But probably better for the client.

The expensive time to find the gaps in your event is when you’re already there.

I created the Event Impact Score to help you spot them before that happens.

A few minutes. A clearer picture. Practical areas you can improve before event day.
